How much do veneers cost in the UK? A 2026 guide

Veneers can transform a smile, but prices vary a lot from one practice to the next, which can make it hard to know what to expect. Here is a clear guide to veneer costs in the UK in 2026, what affects the price, and what you will pay at Castle Street.

The different types of veneer

  • Chairside composite veneers: tooth-coloured resin built up directly on your teeth and shaped by your dentist in a single visit.
  • Lab-made composite veneers: composite veneers made by a dental technician for a more refined finish.
  • Porcelain veneers: thin ceramic shells made by a specialist technician. They offer the most natural look, excellent stain resistance and the longest lifespan.

Typical UK prices

Across the UK, composite veneers typically cost from around £250 to £500 per tooth, and porcelain veneers from around £500 to £1,200 per tooth, depending on the practice and location.

Veneer prices at Castle Street

  • Chairside composite veneers: from £300 per tooth
  • Lab-made composite veneers: from £550 per tooth
  • Porcelain veneers: from £595 per tooth
  • Cosmetic consultation: £50 (£25 deposit, refundable against treatment)

See our full price list on our fees page.

What affects the cost?

  • Number of teeth: Many people have between two and ten veneers, depending on how much of their smile shows
  • Material: Porcelain costs more than composite
  • Preparation work: Some patients need whitening, gum treatment or straightening first
  • Complexity: Teeth with existing fillings, crowns, or damage can need extra planning

Are veneers available on the NHS?

Veneers are not usually available on the NHS, as they are generally considered a cosmetic treatment.

Spreading the cost

We offer 0% finance over 12 months through tabeo, so you can spread the cost of your veneers into equal monthly payments. Practice membership plan members also receive 10% off cosmetic treatments.

Are veneers worth it?

For many people, veneers are a long-term investment in their confidence. Porcelain veneers can last 10 to 15 years or more with good care. The key is choosing a practice that plans carefully and takes a conservative approach, removing as little natural tooth as possible.
