Each set of aligners is crafted from smooth, BPA-free plastic, trimmed precisely to your gum line for a discreet and comfortable fit. About Invisalign®

1. How does Invisalign® work?

Invisalign® uses a series of custom-made clear aligners that fit over your teeth and apply gentle, controlled pressure to move them gradually into position. Each aligner is worn for one to two weeks before you progress to the next in the series. The full treatment plan is mapped out in advance using 3D ClinCheck® digital technology, so your clinician knows exactly how each stage of movement will unfold.

2. Is Invisalign® really invisible?

The aligners are made from clear, smooth plastic and fit closely to your teeth; most people will not notice them at all in everyday conversation or photographs. Small tooth-coloured attachments are sometimes used to aid movement; these are subtle but may be visible up close. Overall, Invisalign® is significantly more discreet than any fixed brace.

3. What is Diamond Apex status and why does it matter?

Diamond Apex is the highest tier in Invisalign®’s provider programme, awarded to fewer than 150 practices worldwide. It reflects the number of cases completed and the clinical complexity handled each year. Choosing a Diamond Apex provider means your treatment is planned and delivered by a clinician who works with Invisalign® at a very high level, bringing greater experience, precision and predictability to your result.

Treatment & suitability

1. Am I a suitable candidate for Invisalign®?

Most adults and older teenagers with mild to moderate alignment concerns are suitable for Invisalign®. It is effective for a wide range of conditions, including crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, crossbite and open bite. Suitability depends on the complexity of your case and the health of your teeth and gums. We assess this thoroughly at your consultation and will be straightforward with you about what Invisalign® can and cannot achieve.

2. How long does Invisalign® treatment take?

Treatment length depends on the complexity of your case. Mild alignment issues can often be resolved in as little as six to twelve months. More complex cases involving significant bite correction or tooth movement typically take twelve to twenty-four months. We will give you a clear estimate at your consultation once we have assessed your teeth and planned your ClinCheck® simulation.

3. Can I eat and drink normally during Invisalign® treatment?

Yes. Because Invisalign® aligners are removable, you simply take them out before eating and drinking anything other than water. There are no food restrictions at all. You replace the aligners after brushing your teeth. This is one of the most appreciated differences between Invisalign® and fixed braces: your diet and daily routine remain completely unchanged.

1. How much does Invisalign® cost at Castle Street Dental?

Invisalign® starts from £2,900 for Invisalign® Lite (mild cases), £3,400 for Invisalign® Moderate, or £3,900 for Invisalign® Full. The exact cost depends on the complexity and length of your treatment, which we confirm after your initial scan and assessment. Initial consultations are complimentary, so there is no cost to finding out whether Invisalign® is right for you.

2. Is finance available for Invisalign®?

Yes. We offer 0% interest-free finance on Invisalign® treatment, subject to eligibility. This allows you to spread the cost of treatment into manageable monthly payments without paying more overall. We will discuss your finance options at your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision.

3. How do I get started with Invisalign® at Castle Street Dental?

The first step is a complimentary consultation at our High Wycombe practice. You will meet with one of our Invisalign® clinicians, have your teeth assessed, and discuss what you would like to achieve. If Invisalign® is suitable, we will take a digital scan and generate your ClinCheck® preview so you can see your expected result before committing to anything.
