High Wycombe has been our home for many years, and we are proud to give something back to the community that has supported us, from local football to local classrooms.
We are proud to sponsor Wycombe Wanderers FC, a club that sits at the heart of our town and brings people of every age and background together.
Our support goes beyond the pitch. We also work with the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation, the club’s charity, which does brilliant work across High Wycombe and the surrounding area to support health, education and inclusion in the community.
We share the Foundation’s belief that looking after your health should be easy and accessible for everyone, and helping people take care of their teeth is a natural part of that.
We regularly visit local schools, community groups and organisations to give talks and practical advice on looking after your teeth. Teaching good habits early, and helping children see the dentist as friendly rather than frightening, is one of the most valuable things we can do for our community.
We also share tips, advice and updates through our social media channels and patient communications, helping our patients and the wider public stay informed about their dental health.
If you would like us to visit your school, club or group, please get in touch with the team. We would love to hear from you.
Every patient at Castle Street Dental Practice, NHS or private, receives an oral cancer screening as part of their routine check-up. Early detection makes a real difference, and it is a responsibility we take seriously.
If we notice anything that needs a closer look, we will refer you promptly for further tests and specialist review, and explain every step along the way.
We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint wherever we can. We recycle used clear aligners through dedicated recycling programmes, keeping plastic out of landfill.
Wherever possible, we replace paper processes with digital ones, from digital patient forms to paperless records and correspondence. Where we do use paper, we choose recycled options. Small changes like these are better for the planet and help the practice run more smoothly too.
We are passionate about supporting the next generation of dental professionals. Through mentoring, we help aspiring and early-career dentists think through the choices that will shape their careers.
That includes guidance on clinical interests and further training, what it takes to buy and run a dental practice, and how to build a professional profile through social media and networking. We remember how daunting those questions can feel, and we are happy to share what we have learned.
If you are a dental professional looking for mentoring or guidance, please get in touch with the team at Castle Street.
Giving back is not an afterthought at Castle Street Dental Practice. It is part of who we are. We are proud to be part of High Wycombe, and we look forward to doing even more for our community in the years ahead.
