Amelia Machin joined Castle Street Dental Practice as a Dental Hygiene Therapist and has quickly become a valued part of the team. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Dental Therapy from the University of Liverpool in 2024 and has been working hands-on with patients ever since, building real experience in a short amount of time and earning a reputation for the kind of care that patients genuinely appreciate.
Amelia’s approach is rooted in communication. She believes that when patients understand what’s happening and why, they’re far more likely to feel at ease during treatment, and far more likely to look after their teeth well at home. She treats everyone as an individual and tailors her advice accordingly.
When she’s not caring for patients, Amelia enjoys dog walks, reading, and spending time with family.
Continuing professional development
Amelia is committed to staying at the forefront of her field. She has recently completed a certification in Airflow, an advanced, minimally invasive technique for removing staining, plaque, and biofilm, and is always looking for ways to bring the most effective, up-to-date treatments to her patients.
