Your face and your smile are seen together. Our facial aesthetic treatments soften lines, restore lost volume and improve skin quality, with a gentle, conservative approach that aims to refresh your look, never change it.
All treatments are carried out by registered dental professionals with a detailed knowledge of facial anatomy. We offer anti-wrinkle treatments, masseter and neck treatment, dermal fillers, skin boosters and polynucleotides.
Costs depend on the treatment, area and amount of product needed. We will give you a clear, itemised quote at your consultation.
When carried out by appropriately trained clinicians who understand facial anatomy, facial aesthetic treatments are very safe. At Castle Street Dental, all treatments are performed by registered dental professionals with specific training in facial aesthetics and a thorough understanding of the underlying anatomy. We use high-quality, CE-marked products from established suppliers and follow careful application techniques. As with any procedure, there are potential side effects; these are discussed in full at consultation.
Natural-looking results are our priority. We take a conservative approach and will always recommend less rather than more, particularly for patients who are new to aesthetic treatments. We aim to refresh your appearance in a way that others notice without necessarily being able to identify why. If you are concerned about looking overdone, please say so at your consultation; we will tailor our approach accordingly.
This varies by treatment. Anti-wrinkle treatments typically last three to four months, and masseter treatment lasts four to six months. Treatment for underarm sweating typically lasts around six months, often longer. Dermal fillers last between six and eighteen months depending on the product and area treated. Profhilo results last around six months. Sunekos, polynucleotide and other skin booster results build gradually and are longer-lasting with regular maintenance. We will give you realistic expectations at your consultation and advise on timing for maintenance treatments.
For many patients, yes. Relaxing the masseter muscles can reduce the force of clenching and grinding, easing jaw tension and helping to protect your teeth from wear. Because we are a dental practice, we can also look at your teeth and bite and discuss whether other options, such as a night guard, would help alongside treatment.
Most treatments involve little or no downtime. Anti-wrinkle treatments, including masseter, neck and underarm treatments, and skin boosters may cause some minor redness and small needle marks that resolve within a few hours. Dermal fillers can cause swelling and bruising for a few days, particularly in the lip area. We will advise what to expect before you book.
In most cases, yes. One of the advantages of receiving aesthetic treatments at a dental practice is that we can consider both your dental and aesthetic care together. We can advise on the best timing for treatments and ensure that anything we plan is compatible with any dental work that is under way or planned. If you are considering both, please mention this at your consultation.
We review all patients two weeks after treatment to assess the results and address any concerns. For anti-wrinkle treatments, minor refinements can be made at this stage. For filler treatments, results can be adjusted, and if necessary, hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase. We will not leave you with a result you are unhappy with without exploring what can be done. This is one of the reasons we recommend that patients only have treatments that are reversible or adjustable until they know how their face responds.
Yes, always. A consultation is a mandatory first step for all facial aesthetic treatments at Castle Street Dental. It allows us to assess your face properly, discuss your goals and medical history, explain the options, and ensure that the treatment is appropriate and safe for you. We will never administer treatment without this process. Under UK law, there is also a mandatory cooling-off period of at least two weeks between a consultation for prescription-only medicines (including botulinum toxin) and treatment.
Contact the practice by phone or online to book a facial aesthetics consultation. Please let us know which treatments you are interested in or the concerns you would like to discuss; this helps us allocate the right amount of time and ensures the clinician is prepared for your appointment. The consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes and covers everything you need to know to make an informed decision.
