What is a diamond apex Invisalign® provider and why does it matter?

When you start researching Invisalign®, you might notice that some practices describe themselves as gold, platinum or diamond providers. It can be a little confusing, so here is a simple explanation of what these tiers mean, and why being treated by a diamond apex provider is good news for your smile.

How the Invisalign® provider tiers work

Invisalign® awards status levels to dentists and practices based on how many patients they have treated with Invisalign®. The more cases a provider completes, the higher their tier. The levels run from entry level through silver, gold, platinum and diamond, with diamond apex being the highest tier.

It is not a badge that can be bought. It reflects real, hands-on experience of planning and completing Invisalign® treatment for a large number of patients.

Why experience matters

Invisalign® is only as good as the plan behind it. The software is clever, but it is the dentist who decides how each tooth should move, in what order and by how much. Experienced providers have seen a wide range of cases and know how to plan treatment that is predictable and comfortable.
That experience can mean:

  • More accurate treatment planning from the start
  • Confidence in treating more complex cases, such as bite problems
  • Fewer surprises and refinements along the way
  • Better, longer-lasting results

Invisalign® at castle street

Castle Street Dental Practice is a diamond apex Invisalign® provider, and our principal dentist, dr kishan lakhani, is recognised among the top 150 Invisalign® providers in the world. Many of our Invisalign® patients come to us through recommendations from friends and family, which we see as the best compliment of all.

We use an itero digital scanner to capture a detailed 3d model of your teeth, with no messy impressions. The scan links directly to Invisalign®’s planning software, so we can show you a simulation of your new smile before you commit.

Does it cost more?

Not necessarily. Our Invisalign® treatment starts from £2,900, which is in line with typical uk prices, and we offer 0% finance over 12 months to help spread the cost.

Choosing your provider

When choosing where to have Invisalign®, it is worth asking a few questions. How many cases has the dentist treated? Can they show you examples of their work? What is included in the price? A good provider will be happy to answer all of these.
