After 10 years I’ve finally found a dentist that I can trust!! Dr Khalid is fantastic both with me and my children! He is such a credit to this surgery and has been wonderful in ensuring that my children and I are comfortable. After some bad experiences at other surgeries my little one is anxious and he really took his time with her to make sure she was no longer afraid of the dentist!As a mother I recommend to take your children to see him! The receptionist was extremely helpful and managed to arrange an emergency appointment regarding my broken filling. Dr Poonia was excellent in explaining the options available, and went out of her way to fit me in with another appointment to repair the filling. All in all a superb service and I have no hesitation in recommending the Castle Street Dental Practice
Khalid is an excellent dentist. Very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly. Today Khalid gave me a couple of fillings. A pain free experience and a natural looking finish.
Whilst the team absolutely deserve excellent reviews, I'm going to be miffed if I can't get future appointments because they're so busy!!! 🤣Barbara is a fantastic hygienist. She's very patient and always explains exactly what she's doing. She has top tips for how to improve personal dental hygiene which are really easy to implement.She was very ably supported today by Anna who was so gentle that I didn't feel a thing - thank you.Victoria has also been really helpful by rearranging an appointment for me so that I had back-to-back appointments, rather than having to come back another day - very much appreciated.
Have been attending for some time now & particularly during One difficult visit to remove my Wisdom tooth Clinician Simran & all the staff were amazing, kind & caring going above & beyond for me. Friendly staff in general, try their best to adhere to my needs/dates etc, with the children too. Lovely with the children too. Very busy, small practice, sometimes run out of seating but that can’t be helped. Tidy and clean.
I had a great appointment wither Usamah and Aaiza. They both made me feel at ease during my appointment and it was one of the best and most thorough check ups I’ve had through the NHS. Thanks!
I have only had my first treatment at this dental practice, but the difference has been remarkable.Previously, I had a crown fitted elsewhere, and I suffered with significant pain for three days afterwards, including headaches and discomfort that made everyday life difficult. After visiting this practice, I was treated by Dr. Usamah, and the experience could not have been more different. Dr. Usamah is exceptionally professional, caring, and skilled. The treatment was excellent, and I left feeling comfortable, relaxed, and pain-free. For the first time in days, I was able to eat normally without discomfort, and my headaches disappeared.I would also like to praise Ola, the dental nurse who assisted during my treatment. She was friendly, attentive, reassuring, and worked seamlessly with Dr. Usamah to make the whole experience smooth and comfortable.Another thing that impressed me was the quality of customer service at reception. While waiting for my appointment, I observed Victoria handling a particularly difficult and lengthy phone call with a patient. The caller seemed to struggle to understand the payment arrangements and appointment requirements, yet Victoria remained calm, polite, patient, and professional throughout. She spent several minutes carefully explaining the same information over and over again without showing the slightest frustration, raising her voice, or becoming rude. I consider myself a patient person, but her level of patience was genuinely impressive.From the clinical care to the nursing support and reception service, everyone I encountered was professional, kind, and dedicated to helping patients. Based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend this practice and look forward to continuing my treatment with them.
Had the beta experience today for myself and my daughter with lots of special needs. Dr Amreet. Is always such a star. So kind and considerate and really knows her stuff! With Segal supporting and Vanessa and Victoria being Uber helpful and efficient on reception. We just feel so at home and comfortable. Would never change! Thoroughly recommend this practice!
Got a same day emergency appointment between Christmas and New Year, while visiting the area. All the staff were kind and professional and the dentist went the extra mile in taking photos and Xrays that she sent in an email to me, so I could forward them to my own dentist as well as doing a very effective patch up temp filling..... all for £40. Amazing. Sadly my dentist has quoted over £1200 to save the tooth.... should have stayed at Castle Street!
Hygienist Barbara and Nurse Anna were wonderful today. Thoroughly put me at ease and made my session pain free and even enjoyable! Also Barbara was very informative about electric toothbrushes and picks. Thank you!

I had to have a private composite crown fitted and was treated by Dr Khalid.His work from start to finish, was to a very high standard.Dr Khalid did such an amazing job, it's impossible to tell the crown from a real tooth, the finish is that good.Dr Khalid was very thorough and the treatment I received was 2nd to none.His nurse, Aaiza was so attentive and she made me feel at ease for my whole treatment.Thank you both for such a smooth experienceHighly recommended.
Dr Usamah was absolutely amazing today. I had a very difficult tooth extraction and he was calm, patient, and reassuring throughout. He explained what was happening, checked on me constantly, and handled a challenging situation with real care and professionalism. I’m genuinely grateful and would highly recommend him.
Last few months was introduced to my new dentist as previous one retired. What a breath of fresh air. Usamah Khalid is young, friendly with up to date knowledge and shares it professionally with empathy and patience.
